The Proxy: Kraft Heinz Director Until May 2024; AEGIS Until 2023

The 2026 Berkshire proxy biography states that Mr. Abel served as a director of The Kraft Heinz Company until May 2024. It states he was a director of AEGIS Insurance Services Inc., “a provider of property and liability insurance for the energy industry,” until 2023.

The May 3, 2025, Form 8-K gives a start year for AEGIS: director from 2016 to 2023. The same 8-K repeats the Kraft Heinz end date of May 2024. Those are former seats as Berkshire described them in SEC filings. They are not a finding about Kraft Heinz products, AEGIS claims, or any lawsuit in Abel’s name.

This file does not invent a Kraft Heinz crime or transfer company performance into a personal charge. The seats ended on the dates the filings give.
